We all know that feeling when you go to the hairdresser, they play with your hair for a while and you come out looking amazing. The way your hair looks, feels, moves it puts a smile on your face.

My aim is to give all my clients that feeling through creating beautiful, bespoke hair styles which compliment your hair type.

I am passionate about hair and I always have been, I've experimented with my own hair since, well... as soon as I was old enough. I'm trained by an award winning Wedding hair stylist and I know how to properly prep and finish hair styles to ensure they last all day.

I am a mobile hair stylist based in Hampshire, UK but I am happy to travel and also available for destination weddings.

During the hair trial I will work with you to get a vision of the hair style you are looking to achieve, i'll ask you questions about your make up, outfit, theme etc to get a full picture before starting work experimenting with different styles until we are both happy that its the perfect one.

COVID-19

Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has changed the way many of us have had to prepare and deal with work, life and everything really! We have all been learning to deal with it and so much is still unknown about the virus and all of its mitigating factors.
I have conducted thorough research on how it can affect my business and the services I provide to my clients. Also how to best protect myself and my clients whilst working. I have completed Barbicide Coronavirus training and my certificate can be found on this page. This has helped me prepare for running Love Is In The Hair By Sabrina services going forward. I have consulted the NHBF and the FHA as well as our leading Government’s guidelines for help with my protocols and I’m confident the measures I am putting in place will keep us safe.

What I Will Ensure

  • All equipment will be thoroughly sanitised before and after any appointment
  • I will be wearing face mask, visor, gown and shoe covers when entering the client’s home/venue and for the duration of the appointment
  • I shall wash my hands as soon as I enter and before I leave a home/venue.
  • I will bring disinfectant wipes, spray, fresh gowns, shoe covers, mask and alcohol spray to every appointment
  • Limiting time we spend together to when circumstances deem absolutely necessary to the client’s service.
  • If the client is at my house for a trial, I will not be able to offer them food or beverages, please bring these to the appointment, if needed.
  • If I am feeling unwell, have any symptoms or I/a member of my household test positive for Coronavirus I will ensure I inform the client at the earliest opportunity and provide either a rescheduled appointment or full refund.
What I Need From My Clients

  • All clients need to wear a face mask – if you need one to be provided I will provide at a small fee.
  • If clients are having a trial at my home, full PPE must be worn. Including gown, gloves, shoe covering and mask – If you need these to be provided I will do so at a small fee.
  • Clients’ hair needs to be clean and dry and shared surfaces disinfected ahead of appointment if at home.
  • Keep the room we are working in well ventilated by either opening a door or window if possible.
  • Have a chair ready to sit on and access to a power point.
  • Access to a sink to be able to wash my hands.
  • Payments made by bank transfer, where possible, to limit the amount of time spent handling cash to limit exposure to germs.
  • Have the rest of the family/household/party out of the house or immediate room we are working in, where possible. If they are in the same room they need to adhere to a 2M social distance from myself and wear PPE as detailed above.
  • If the client is feeling unwell, has any symptoms or they/a member of their household tests positive for Coronavirus they need to inform me at the earliest opportunity. I will then endeavour to reschedule appointments, after a quarantine period of 14 days. If unable to reschedule unfortunately payments made are non-refundable.
  • If the client, or a member of their household tests positive for Coronavirus after I have been to conduct our appointment and it is less than 14 days since I have seen you then please notify me immediately so that I can take appropriate steps to protect my family and other clients.
  • I reserve the right to cancel the appointment if I arrive and any of the above has not been carried out. Payments made will be non-refundable.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEFINITIONS

Service(s): Any of the services provided by the Company, as listed under the “Services” menu on the Home page of this website.
Client: The main recipient of the Service(s)
Company: Love Is In The Hair By Sabrina
Agreement: The agreement between the Client and the Company, confirmed by email, for provision of the Service(s)
Fee: The amount payable by the Client to the Company for the Service(s) in the Agreement
The Event: The occasion and venue where the Service(s) will be provided by the Company
Party: Persons in addition to the Client requiring Service(s) at the Event

BOOKING – WEDDING DAY HAIR

Services are secured upon receipt of an £50 deposit for bookings within the UK. For bookings outside of the UK a quote will be provided for Sabrina’s services which will include details of the deposit payment. The deposit payment can be made before or after a trial session, if required. Receipt of the deposit payment confirms the Agreement and secures the Company’s availability for the Event on the agreed date and time for the agreed Fee.
The deposit is deducted from the final Fee due. Enquiries for which a deposit has not been paid are not confirmed and therefore availability cannot be guaranteed and an Agreement is not formally in place.
Deposits are non-refundable if a cancellation is received less than 12 weeks before the Event.
If the Client does not wish to book the service for the Event after a trial session the deposit is refunded in full within 7 days unless the Event is less than 12 weeks away in which case it is non-refundable.
Cancellations are only deemed valid if received via email.
The Fee is always agreed via email, verbal agreements are not offered as they are not deemed valid by the Company.
The Company reserves the right to cancel special offers and rates at any time, with the exception of where an emailed Agreement is already in place with the Client.

BOOKING – OTHER HAIR


Bookings are secured upon email confirmation from The Company. This confirms the Agreement and secures the Company’s availability for the Event on the agreed date and time for the agreed Fee.
The full cost of a booking is incurred if a cancellation is received less than 24 hours before the Event.
Cancellations are only deemed valid if received via email.
The Fee is always agreed via email, verbal agreements are not offered as they are not deemed valid by the Company.
The Company reserves the right to cancel special offers and rates at any time, with the exception of where an emailed Agreement is already in place with the Client.

TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR BOOKINGS WITHIN THE MAINLAND UK

For Sabrina travel expenses are incurred for services booked outside a 5-mile road distance from her home address in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. They are at a rate of 45p for every mile to and from the venue inclusive.
Where travel expenses are incurred for travel by car to locations where the service is to be provided within the London Congestion Charge Zone, at times when the Charge is in operation, the London Congestion Charge fee will be added to the Fee.
Distances are calculated using an online journey planner and travel expenses will be agreed between the Company and Client as part of the Agreement.
If required, alternative methods of transport other than motor vehicles, such as rail or flight will be discussed and agreed with the Client during the booking process.

TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR BOOKINGS OUTSIDE OF THE MAINLAND UK


Travel expenses are incurred for services booked outside of the mainland UK, they are as follows:
  • Travel expenses to and/or parking at a train station, airport or port where Sabrina will be travelling from. If the journey to the train station, airport or port is by car then 45p for every mile outside of a 5-mile road distance from Sabrina’s home address in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire to and from the station, airport or port inclusive.
  • Return rail tickets, flights and/or boat tickets for Sabrina booked from/to convenient train stations, airports and/or ports. The Company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option; and
  • All additional travel required at the destination related to provision of services at the Event.
Road distances are calculated using an online journey planner and travel expenses will be agreed between the Company and Client as part of the Agreement.

ACCOMMODATION & SUBSISTENCE EXPENSES FOR BOOKINGS WITHIN THE MAINLAND UK

Accommodation expenses are incurred for services provided within the mainland UK for bookings away from Sabrina’s home address where she would have to leave her home address on or before 4:30am.
This will be discussed and agreed with the Client during the booking process.
£50 will be charged for subsistence for Sabrina for every 24 hours spent away from home for a booking.
The Company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option.

ACCOMMODATION & SUBSISTENCE EXPENSES FOR BOOKINGS OUTSIDE OF THE MAINLAND UK


For bookings outside of the mainland UK, accommodation expenses within the mainland UK will be charged for trains, flights or boats leaving the mainland UK Sabrina would have to leave her home address on or before 4:30am.
Additional accommodation expenses at the destination of the Event may also be incurred however all accommodation expenses will be discussed and agreed with the Client during the booking process.
£50 will be charged for subsistence for Sabrina for every 24 hours spent away from home for a booking.
The Company will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option.

PAYMENT – HAIR

An invoice for the balance of the Fee will be sent from the Company to the Client 2 weeks before the date of the Event, unless the Event is in less than 2 weeks’ time in which case it will be sent immediately after the booking has been secured.
Full payment of the balance of the Fee is required 1 week before the Event at the latest, if the Event is less than 1 week away full payment is required to secure the booking. There are no exceptions to this.
Payment can be accepted via bank transfer or cash.
Bookings are only confirmed once the funds have cleared in the Company’s bank account.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

It is the Client’s responsibility to inform the Company of any potential issues such as but not limited to medical conditions, allergies, and/or sensitivities. Neither the Company nor Sabrina can be held liable for any condition that arises or loss incurred by the Client if the Client has not informed the Company and/or Sabrina of any known conditions as stated above, or of any conditions unknown to the Client at the time of the service.
The Company and/or Sabrina reserve the right to cancel the Agreement if the behaviour of the Client is deemed inappropriate and/or if the Client reports a condition that the Company and/or Sabrina deem as a risk to the Client’s health and well-being. In these cases any payments that have already been made by the Client for the service are non-refundable.

COMPANY RESPONSIBILITY

The Company will always endeavour to honour the Agreement to the best of its ability.
There may be circumstances beyond the control of the Company where Sabrina is unwell, delayed or otherwise unavailable, sometimes at short notice. In such a case the Company will inform the Client at its earliest convenience and endeavour to make favourable alternative arrangements if possible.
The Company reserves the right to offer the Client compensation in the event that it is not able to honour the Agreement. This is entirely dependent on the circumstances and will be discussed openly and honestly with the Client.

CANCELLATIONS
Unless specified differently on the webpage for the service:
  • payments made to the Company for a service that is subsequently cancelled by the Company will be refunded in full within 7 days of the cancellation;
  • cancellations by the Client for a wedding service where a payment has been made, that are received less than 12 weeks before the start of the service are non-refundable. Cancellations received before this time will be refunded in full within 7 days of the cancellation; and
  • cancellations by the Client for a non-wedding service where a payment has been made, that are received less than 3 weeks before the start of the service are non-refundable. Cancellations received before this time will be refunded in full within 7 days of the cancellation.
Cancellations for services booked where travel and/or accommodation expenses have been paid for by the Company and are non-refundable by the travel/accommodation provider(s) will incur full reimbursement from the Client to the Company for the travel and/or accommodation costs paid.
Cancellations are only valid if received via email to Sabrinabuck82@gmail.com

PHOTOGRAPHY & USE OF IMAGES

Photographic/video images of the Client, Party and/or Event will not be used by the Company in promotional material unless the Client’s express permission has been granted.

CHANGES TO SERVICES AND PRICES


Prices for products and services are subject to change without notice.
The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue a service (or any part or content thereof) at any time without notice.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT DETAILS

Maximum time allocation for trials: the maximum time that Sabrina can spend on any one trial is 2.5 hours for a hair booking. Any additional time required for trial sessions will have to be booked as a repeat trial.
Repeat trials: If a second hair trial is requested the same fee applies as for the first trial.
Single bride supplements and minimum booking sizes for bridal services: extra charges are applicable for single bride bookings and there are minimum booking sizes for bridal services for certain times/distances, these are detailed on the Prices Page. Quotes for Sabrina’s services will always include this.
Assistants: If the start time for a booking is amended to be later than in the initial Agreement, however the finish time is to remain the same; or if a booking is requested for one Sabrina but is deemed by the Company not to be possible for one person due to time constraints, an assistant to the hairstylist can be booked for an additional £100 in total per booking.
Hairstyling services for younger members of the Party: Hairstyling services for any members of the Party who are up to 10 years old are complimentary. This will only include plaits or loose waves with a plait – up to 15 minutes of hairstyling per Party member.
